Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Aaradhya attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities on the third day, making the most of their time at the ceremony. On Sunday, they concluded their participation in the three-day-long celebrations in Jamnagar and returned to Mumbai. Videos of the family at the event surfaced on social media, capturing their departure from Kalinga airport. Aaradhya was seen holding her grandfather Amitabh’s hand. While their absence on the first two days raised questions, their united presence, particularly Aishwarya bonding with other family members, dispelled divorce rumors surrounding Abhishek and her, at least for the moment.

Before heading back to Mumbai, the family fully immersed themselves in the festivities. In an online video, Aishwarya, Aaradhya, and Abhishek can be seen dancing to the beats of the dhol tasha. Amitabh looked elegant in an off-white kurta-pyjama, adorned with a colorful shawl. Jaya Bachchan opted for a beige saree, also accessorized with a shawl. Abhishek and Aishwarya were dressed in coordinated cream traditional attire, while Shweta chose a golden suit. Aaradhya wore a white dress, Navya appeared in a colorful lehenga, and Agastya sported a cream sherwani, adding to the festive charm.
After attending the pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, the Paa actor reflected on his tardiness in a blog post and a tweet on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote, “T 4939… late yes, but never the pretense.” In his blog, he recounted his experience at the pre-wedding celebration and his visit to Vantara, the animal rehabilitation center founded by Anant. Describing it as a “never-before-seen experience,” he expressed appreciation for both events. “The gates of Jalsa remained closed on Sunday, but we attended a wedding and visited the VanTara animal relief facility,” he remarked. Due to his absence, the customary Sunday darshan, where the megastar meets his fans outside his residence, did not occur.
He further exclaimed, “Goodness me, what an extraordinary experience! The most scientifically advanced setup for animals that have been maltreated, brought here to this farm, and nurtured back to health. This is an experience that must be seen to be believed. I won’t divulge more details, as the joy and ecstasy of the experience should not be spoiled, but everyone must witness it. And then, the glory of the Shlokas, the chanting of mantras, and the truly divine atmosphere created by the hosts – simply incredible.” Concluding, he remarked, “So for now, it’s a late night.”
