Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur’s forthcoming Telugu movie “Family Star” has been officially slated for release on April 5. Deverakonda shared the news on his social media platforms alongside a fresh poster, stating, “Mark your calendars, April 5, 2024.”
“Family Star” marks Vijay Deverakonda’s return to the silver screen following his 2023 venture “Kushi.” The teaser released by the makers showcased Deverakonda’s versatility, portraying him both as a family-oriented individual and a fierce hero capable of taking on villains with ease.
The video depicts the actor engaging in household chores, handling kitchen responsibilities, and dropping his children off at school. In a subsequent scene, he confronts a man who questions his masculinity for his domestic involvement. Deverakonda responds sharply, challenging the notion by questioning whether buying onions or preparing kids for school diminishes his manhood. He emphasizes that masculinity isn’t defined by such stereotypes, culminating in a powerful confrontation where he asserts his strength.
“Family Star” is helmed by director Parasuram Petla and co-produced by Dil Raju and Shirish.
