In a post on X, the Prime Minister expressed, “Greetings to the people of India on Parakram Diwas. Today, on his Jayanti, we honor the life and bravery of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. His unwavering dedication to our nation’s freedom continues to inspire.”

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended his tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 127th birth anniversary, also known as ‘Parakram Diwas.’ In a statement on X, Mr. Gandhi highlighted Netaji as a prominent embodiment of Indian values, emphasizing pluralism, social and economic justice. He expressed, “Our heartfelt tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 127th birth anniversary. Netaji’s Indian National Army, featuring brigades named Gandhi, Nehru, Azad, Subhas, and the Rani of Jhansi regiment, played a pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle.” Mr. Gandhi further noted, “He was a shining example of Indian values encompassing pluralism, social and economic justice, tolerance, and gender inclusivity.
