Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various projects totaling Rs 11,100 crore in Ayodhya tomorrow. Among the notable developments are the newly constructed airport terminal, a greenfield township, a railway station, and four pathways. The day’s events will commence with the inauguration of the revamped Ayodhya railway station, followed by the flagging off of new Amrit Bharat and Vander Bharat trains at 11:15 am. Subsequently, the newly constructed Ayodhya international airport will be unveiled around half an hour later.
At 1 pm, the Prime Minister is set to address a public meeting and inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects amounting to Rs 15,700 crore, including Rs 11,100 crore for Ayodhya’s development. Additionally, Modi will launch the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express, Malda Town-M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express, and six new Vande Bharat trains. Railway projects worth Rs 2,300 crore will also be unveiled.
Various other projects on the agenda include the inauguration of the Rajarshi Dashrath Autonomous State Medical College, a four-lane road connecting Ayodhya-Sultanpur Road-Airport, a four-lane road to Tedhi Bazaar Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, a railway overbridge at the Badi Bua crossing on Panchkosi Parikrama Marg, and a solid waste treatment plant at Pikhrauli village. Additionally, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for a greenfield township worth Rs 2,180 crore, Vashishtha Kunj Residential Scheme worth Rs 300 crore, and the conservation and beautification of four “historical entrance gates” in Ayodhya, among other initiatives.
State Excise Minister Nitin Agrawal has declared the Panchkosi Parikrama Marga as a liquor-free zone, with existing liquor shops being removed from the area. This decision was communicated after a meeting between Agrawal and Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust secretary Champat Rai in Ayodhya.
