Celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut film, “1: Nenokkadine,” Kriti Sanon reunited with her first co-star, Mahesh Babu. Having started her acting journey with the Telugu film, she later ventured into Hindi cinema with “Heropanti” alongside Tiger Shroff. Marking a decade since the release of “1: Nenokkadine,” Kriti shared heartfelt moments from the reunion, expressing gratitude and nostalgia.
In a photo shared on Wednesday, Kriti posed with Mahesh Babu, reminiscing about their first film together. In the caption, she reflected on the journey, stating, “It’s been 10 years since my first-ever film. My first Telugu film with my first-ever co-star, Mahesh Babu Sir. So many memories and so much gratitude in my heart. How lovely and nostalgic it was to meet you again after ages. So much has changed but it’s still the same.”
Another picture featured Kriti with Mahesh Babu and his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, where she expressed her disbelief at the passing of a decade. She wrote, “Happy 10 years. 1: Nenokkadine, Can’t believe it’s been a decade. Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar. Miss you Sukumar Sir. Thank you for the best debut and the best memories ever. Aww Tuzo Mogh Korta (which also is the name of the track from the film).”
Directed by Sukumar, “1: Nenokkadine” starred Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, with Gautham Krishna, Mahesh Babu’s son, making his debut in the film as a younger version of the protagonist. The story revolves around Gautham, a rock musician with schizophrenia, on a quest to find his parents with the help of his girlfriend Sameera, a journalist.
On the professional front, Kriti Sanon recently announced her upcoming film, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” with Shahid Kapoor, set to release on February 9. She also has “The Crew,” alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is making a comeback to theaters after two years with “Guntur Kaaram,” scheduled for release this Friday.
